In terms of training uptake, we can see a shift in industry sectors this quarter. Whilst traditionally manufacturing has been the major recipient of voucher funding, last financial year saw a shift to the agriculture sector, partly as a result of Venture Taranaki’s efforts to increase engagement with agribusinesses. This quarter we can see a slowdown in both agriculture and manufacturing, with an upswing in voucher spend from the construction sector. Read more...
