Advantage Business has been working with Small to Medium sized Businesses for the last 19 years in New Zealand. Has business changed much over that time?
In fact the principles of successful business leadership, and business success itself, have remained constant – trust, commitment, integrity, commercial acumen, effective communication and living out core values continue to define the great companies, and those companies that are most likely to succeed.
Of course, thanks mainly to technology, our world is changing around us faster than ever, and navigating these changes requires new skill sets and thinking.
Our commitment as a company is to ‘enable business owners be the best they can be’, and the Advantage Business Applied Governance workshops are designed with this objective in mind. Business owners, family members coming into the business, or senior managers seeking to work more effectively with the Directors, will all benefit from this practical introduction on how to apply the principles of good governance in their businesses.
The 4.5 hour workshop is in three parts:
1. You will be introduced to the core responsibilities and principles relating to Good Governance.
2. You will get some practical steps to take immediately to establish an Applied Governance Programme in your own business.
3. You will have a facilitated session to uncover the most important conversations you need to have amongst your leadership team (owners, managers, family, etc.), right now.
The workshops are facilitated in Taranaki by Craig Hattle, who has facilitated the setup of Advisory Boards, Governance Structures and Management Teams in privately held businesses for over 12 years.
Craig is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and willingly shares his working experiences from his own farming businesses as well as from the varied boards and advisory boards he has been a part of over the years.
