Speakers:
Hear from the following impressive food and beverage entrepreneurs who will recount their success stories  and share their perspective on how the New Zealand food and beverage scene is capitalising on the global market including burgeoning opportunities in Asia. The event will be capped by an interactive Q&A session.
 
  • Richard King – Five years ago Richard set out to create ‘the greatest energy bar in the world’. The exceedingly healthy Moonbar includes David Bowie - inspired names and is sold across New Zealand and exported to Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.
 
  • Morgan Maw  - Founder of Bonnie – an award winning wholefoods brand specialising in oat-based products, which can be found in speciality stores and are exported to Australia and Singapore. Her company is now based in Auckland, but Morgan was born and raised in New Plymouth.
 
  • Nick Hammond – co-founder and COO of Spring Sheep Milk – winner of the Supreme Award at the New Zealand food Awards – they produce sheep milk in Taupo and are exporting to Taiwan and parts of South East Asia.
 
This event reflects a unique opportunity for Taranaki food producers to learn from other entrepreneurial New Zealand based food production businesses, tap their knowledge and experiences in national and international markets.
